BEFORE THE APPLICATION
AFTER THE APPLICATION
Inspection of the floor area, removal of all loose and detached parts.
The floor is washed with a hydrochloric acid solution under pressure, to remove organic residues.
If necessary and in the presence of any chemical corrosion of the worn surface, the floor is treated with special repairing solutions. Every mechanical damage (holes and cracks) is mended with resinous sealing cement mortars.
Stencil resinous quartz forged cement of 3 mm height is applied. On top of it, a dense, firm, fiberglass mesh and a second layer of the Stencil resinous quartz forged cement mortar are applied, so as to box the mesh. A proper sub-base has been formed with the focus on improving both strength and aesthetics of the new floor.
The floor is allowed to dry completely, then the Stencil decorative floor is constructed with the Spray on Dry technique. The special Stencil waterproof paper with the desired pattern is placed on top.
The Stencil color hardener is sprayed in liquid form. The total amount of material used is 4 kg/sq.m. in a thickness of approximately 3mm.
Finally, the Stencil paper is removed and the new floor is embossed. A few days later, the floor is cleaned and a special impregnating sealer varnish is applied and the new floor is ready to use.
